The Mandel Foundation is pleased to welcome to its board J. David Heller, the President, CEO and Cofounder of The NRP Group, one of the largest multifamily development, construction, and property management companies in the U.S.
David is deeply committed to community service and has a long history of leadership positions in civic organizations. In January 2009, the President of the United States appointed him to the United States Holocaust Memorial Council. He also serves on the boards of University Hospitals of Cleveland, Parkwood Corporation, The Cleveland Foundation, the Jewish Agency for Israel, and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee. Previous leadership roles include Board Chairman and Executive Committee Member at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, president of Jewish Education Center of Cleveland, president of Ohio Jewish Communities, and vice president of Gross Schechter Day School.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan and was awarded the Ross School of Business, David D. Alger Alumni Achievement Award in 2017.
