Mandel Foundation Welcomes New Board Trustee, Nachman Shai

The Mandel Foundation is pleased to welcome a new member to the Board of Trustees, Dr. Nachman Shai. He most recently served as the Minister of Diaspora Affairs in Israel. In this role, he was entrusted with fostering the connection between world Jewry and the State of Israel. For more than a decade prior, Dr. Shai was a member of the Knesset, most recently as the Deputy Speaker. Prior to his election to the Knesset, Dr. Shai held diverse positions in the military, media, as well as diplomatic and public arenas. These include serving as the Senior VP and Director General of the United Jewish Communities Israel, the Chair of the Israel Broadcasting Authority and the Director General of the Ministry of Science, Culture & Sport.
