The $9.2 million renovation of the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences (MSASS) building on the campus of Case Western Reserve University was celebrated with a building dedication on September 16, 2016. This renovation was made possible through a $4.95 million lead gift from the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation.

The renovation substantially updated the school’s primary building, which was first dedicated in 1989. The renovation provides students, staff and faculty with space that encourages interaction, teamwork, and broad collaborations with each other and the community. It transformed 32,440 square feet of the building, including all of the classrooms, relocated the school’s social work library and added 3,700 square feet of space.
