- The Centers for Families and Children
For nearly 150 years, The Centers for Families and Children (The Centers) has provided behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, child and family services, and supportive programs for families throughout Greater Cleveland. In 2022, the organization formally affiliated with the historic Cleveland Christian Home (CCH), creating a multi-service campus dedicated to helping children, youth, and families access the comprehensive resources they need.
With the support of a $1 million Foundation grant, The Centers partnered with Cuyahoga County in 2025 to transform the CCH into the HOPE Campus and Welcome Center, designed to address a critical shortage of residential treatment and placement options for youth in county custody. The new center will provide a centralized, trauma-informed campus with residential treatment, emergency placement services, a 24/7 Child Wellness Welcome Center, and a Rapid Reunification Team focused on helping children safely reconnect with their families.
