- Secure Community Network
The Secure Community Network (SCN) is the official safety and security organization of the Jewish community in North America. Since 2022, the Mandel Foundation has provided $53.2 million to support a proactive and innovative security approach aimed at addressing rising threats and incidents rooted in anti-Semitism. The Foundation's funding enabled SCN to enhance its National Jewish Security Operations Command Center (JSOCC), which is staffed by professional intelligence analysts. Mandel Foundation contributions to SCN also support a security program for Jewish youth camps, an Intelligence Partnership Pilot and regional intelligence centers. These investments are part of a comprehensive, coordinated, best practice security architecture using advanced technology and intelligence to ensure that Jewish life can exist safely, proudly and without fear throughout North America. In 2026, the Foundation allocated three additional years of support to advance training, resources, and protections at key centers of Jewish life, and personnel development to strengthen SCN’s fundraising capacity and ensure long-term sustainability.
