Mandel Jewish Community Center of Palm Beach

The mission of the Mandel Jewish Community Center of Palm Beach (Mandel PB JCC) is to build community and enhance connection to Jewish life. The Mandel Foundation has supported the Mandel PB JCC through general operating support and capital campaign initiatives since the 1980’s. In 2011, the Mandel Foundation provided funding to build the Mandel Jewish Community Center Palm Beach Gardens, a new main campus to serve members in the northern part of Palm Beach County. The site is home to arts and recreation activities and a garden dedicated to the memory of Simon and Rose Mandel. Like many early childhood care providers, JCC Palm Beach faced many challenges following COVID-19, and the Foundation approved funding in 2023 to meet an urgent need for high-quality early childhood services. The Mandel brothers were passionate about providing space for Jewish communities to congregate and thrive together, and this longtime partnership continues to support those goals.
