Mandel Jewish Community Center of Palm Beach

The Mandel brothers were passionate about providing space for Jewish communities to congregate and thrive together, and the Mandel Foundation's longtime partnership with the Mandel Jewish Community Center of Palm Beach (Mandel PB JCC) aligns with that vision. Mandel PB JCC's mission is to build community and enhance connection to Jewish life, and the Foundation has provided general operating support and capital campaign contributions since the 1980s. In 2011, the Foundation supported a building campaign for the Mandel Jewish Community Center Palm Beach Gardens, a new main campus to serve members in the northern part of Palm Beach County. The site is home to arts and recreation activities and a garden dedicated to the memory of Simon and Rose Mandel. Since 2022, the Foundation has also provided annual support to the JCC's Teen Engagement Initiative and efforts to recruit and retrain high-quality early childhood educators.
