M²: The Institute for Experiential Jewish Education

M² helps educators and organizations design meaningful, values-driven experiences that help learners strengthen their Jewish identity. Through a cohort-based model M² has trained more than 4,000 educators across 40+ cohorts in over 20 countries. The Mandel Foundation first supported its Center for Values in Action with a $1.3 million grant through the Jewish Community Response and Impact Fund during the pandemic and went on to support its work with the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland. This relationship was strengthened in 2025 with funds allocated to the Community Cohorts for Mid-Career Professionals program - a Jewish leadership model that was launched successfully in Cleveland and is expanding to Boston, Washington, D.C., and Toronto - as well as the New Professionals Institute.
