- Jewish Review of Books
Founded in Cleveland in 2009, the Jewish Review of Books (JRB) is the leading print magazine and website for Jewish history, thought and culture. Through its multi-year operating support grants, the Foundation invests in JRB’s efforts to advance understanding of Jewish culture through the humanities. Leading scholars, policymakers, novelists, and critics contribute to the JRB’s quarterly publications, reaching 8,500 readers via print and an estimated 67,000 individuals online. JRB is a catalyst for important conversations and debates about the Jewish past, present and future in both the diaspora and Israel, using books to expand connections to the worlds of Jewish culture, history, and ideas, thus furthering Jewish culture and shaping the opinions of both thought leaders and mainstream readers.
