- Jewish Federations of North America
The Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) represents approximately 150 independent Jewish Federations and 300 communities in their efforts to protect and enhance the well-being of Jews worldwide. Through the Mandel Foundation’s partnership with JFNA, the Foundation has recommended support for dozens of projects and programs throughout Israel, and has also directly supported several key JFNA initiatives. The Mandel Center for Leadership Excellence Program was established in 2005 to develop excellent executives for future Federation leadership, cultivate a learning framework across all professional levels, and invest in healthy organizational cultures for all Federations. The LiveSecure Community Fund enables local Federations to provide critical training, tools and resources needed to protect members of the Jewish community at synagogues, schools, senior centers, summer camps, community centers and beyond. Through Foundation support, JFNA is developing a comprehensive talent strategy initiative to recruit, train, and retain top talent for key roles across the Federation System, helping ensure the flourishing of Jewish life.
