- Jewish Community Center Association of North America
The Jewish Community Center Association of North America provides organizational leadership and support to the JCC Movement in North America, including over 170 Jewish community centers and camps in the U.S. and Canada. Beginning in 1988, the Foundation provided funding for executive leadership training to help attract, develop, and retain leaders with the ability to meet the current and future needs of JCCs. Expanding on this commitment, the Mandel Center for Jewish Education (MCJE) was established in 2002 to increase the power of JCCs as environments for Jewish living and learning, thereby strengthening the Jewish community. The activities of MCJE historically focused on professional development for JCC executives, later expanding to include all Jewish community center leadership, educators, and camp professionals.
