- Hebrew College
Founded in 1921 in Newton Centre, Massachusetts, Hebrew College is a private college committed to Jewish scholarship in a pluralistic, trans-denominational academic environment. The Mandel Foundation began its support of Hebrew College with a 2021 challenge grant to construct a new hub for Jewish life and learning, including the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Education Building, on the site of Temple Reyim. The project, which represents a unique collaboration between Hebrew College and Temple Reyim, will create a new shared campus for Jewish life, allowing both institutions to maintain their distinctive identities and programs while sharing space and resources to strengthen their missions and serve the wider Jewish community.
