- Cleveland Museum of Natural History
The Mandel Foundation has been providing increasing levels of support to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History (CMNH) since the 1960s, a partnership that significantly expanded in 2021 when the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Community Days program and the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Community Space were established. The Mandel Community Space is a first-of-its-kind resource center within the CMNH Education Wing, creating immersive and interactive learning experiences for museum visitors. And the Mandel Community Days program, launched in 2022 and expanded in 2025, provides free Sunday admission to residents in Cleveland, East Cleveland and other inner ring suburbs. Both the Mandel Community Days and Mandel Community Space are designed to expand CMNH access to the Greater Cleveland community, fostering a deeper connection to science and nature and their relevance to civic engagement.
