The Mandel IDF Educational Leadership Development Program was launched in 2005 in collaboration with the IDF Education and Youth Corps. It aims to advance senior officers' educational vision and practices.  

Our program aspires to develop the officers’ identity as "educators in uniform", to formulate their educational vision, and to translate theories into practices, and vice versa.

The program is designed for officers from the Education and Youth Corps as well as officers from other IDF corps who are committed to education. The admissions process begins with an internal stage conducted by the IDF, and concludes with a final stage held at the Mandel Leadership Institute.
