Application Requirements:
Applicants for the Mandel Jerusalem Fellows should have:

- A proven track record of educational leadership
- The ability and desire to examine deeply their assumptions about identity, community and educational practice
- An advanced degree (MA or higher)
- A commitment to improving their Hebrew to the highest possible standard during the program
- A commitment to both the core curriculum and to individual study

Acceptance of candidates to the program is conditional on their committing to three years of service in the field of Jewish education on completion of the program.
Currently no new fellows are being recruited for the Mandel Jerusalem Fellows program.
Restrictions: First degree relatives (children, grandchildren, sons and/daughters in law, and siblings) of faculty of the Mandel Leadership Institute and Mandel Foundation are ineligible for application to MJF. Couples will not both be accepted to the program in the same year.
